The icon represents Christ in blessing with left hand resting on a book. This icon is also called Christ with the forbidden eye (in Russia Yaroe Oko). The icon was created at the second half of the 18th century in central Russia. Icon is painted in the Old Believer style. On fields are represented: the left border depicts Guardian Angel. On the right border St. Maria of Egypt.
